Dallas College - Fall 2025 Application Cycle

Published

Hi guys, I don't know anyone who is applying to the Dallas College ADN program for Fall of 2025. Every time I try to contact the admissions office or speak to a success coach, they're little to no help. I have to figure everything out by myself. Have y'all heard anything about average TEAS scores or what points we should aim for? I'm sitting at 39 points.

Hello, I'm also applying for Fall 2025!

They are no help with the point system but I think it's because they don't really know. As far as I understand, it changes every semester depending on the people who apply. For example, I'm going in with 38 points. I believe this means they would put you over me in the list of candidates.

So hopefully not a lot of people have over our amount of points.

From what I've read in previous forums, having over 30 points is a good thing. People who have over 40 seemed to have gotten into their first options. But again, it's hard to say.

If you find out more information please share!

Hey!

I'm also applying for Fall 2025. I haven't seen anything about deadlines and I can't reach admissions either. I've just been left on hold. I'm scared because I don't want to miss any deadlines!

I have about the same amount of points too

You should joint the facebook group "nursing and allied health students dallas"  they're a lot of help on there.

I just graduated from the program in December (Brookhaven) I'd be glad to answer any questions for yall!

Hello I would like to know if there are some campuses that students prefer over others. Are some campuses more helpful ? Are the professors more more helpful and understanding than others?

I picked Brookhaven over other campuses because of their NCLEX pass rate. I felt all my professors were helpful and you figure out early on who will be your mentors throughout the program that you can reach out to if you have any questions through out the program.

I am being told that prereqs are needed for the LVN program but I was told by an advisor that I wouldnt need any. Im so conflicted

Hi, I just got into the Brookhaven nursing program Fall 2025. Any tips on what to study ahead of time before school start? Also, Dallas College only requires either pharmacology or pathophysiology. I took pharm, but is patho worth reviewing before the program? Thank you!

Hi, does this mean the deadline for the fall 2025 semester is closed? I kept revisiting their homepage about any deadlines but it only says it would be available something during the Spring 2025 semester. Please let me know, thank you!

Hi! I took Pathophysiology prior to the start of the program and never took pharmacology. I think you're fine. They teach you everything you need to know hence why you don't need both!
Study tips are read everything. Look at YouTube videos for content you don't understand.
