I just graduated from Cypress College. When I applied, I had a B in micro and A's in anatomy/physiology. = 22 points. Didn't you go to the application orientation? They usually break down the scoring system for you. If you didn't go, give the health science dept a call and they will break down for you. But if you have A's in all the prereq's and did all your gen. edu. classes, you shouldn't have a problem getting in. Good luck! Cypress College has an awesome program and most of my class has passed the boards with 75 questions only, including me!
You're too funny. My email is [email protected]. Can you send me an address or should I just contact you here? I'm in Physiology right now and will apply in the fall. Your info would be valued beyond belief. FAIR is all I ask and I know life just isn't that way sometimes.
hey jennifer who are you taking for physiology? i was wondering if there's summer classes for either physiology or micro and if there is, do you guys recommend taking a prerequisite science class during the summer?
ELAC has physiology for the summer and its like 16 weeks or less. Take with Canales. Alot of work but easy!!!!!! I know...at ELAC??? But they take anyone cuz alot of people drop (at least when I took it there). Plus, if you do your work and study, you should get an "A" which will help get you in a program.

I'm trying to find out how Cypress College grades their candidates for their ADN program. If I have taken the general ed classes and passes with a B or better and have an A in Anatomy, Micro, and Physiology, then am I an automatic shoe-in? I understand there's 25 points possible, but how is it broken down? Do I have to take the classes at Cypress for a better score?
