Cypress College ADN Spring 2024

Hi Guys. I would like to start a thread for Cypress College Spring 2024 Nursing Program. Hope we can share usefull information and Good luck to everyone!!

I hope we all get in too. One of my friends also was an alternate.

What did you all score? I got 28/30. GPA 3.4  . I repeated a general prerequisite and they used the old passing grade instead of my A. ?

Lots of hopeful alternates it seems.. since we can't do anything other than wait and attend orientation, what are everyone's main reasons for wanting to go to Cypress over another program(s)? Mine are wanting to stay in the OC and hoping that clinical rotations in the OC will increase my chances in the future of landing a new grad position in the OC.

I got selected as an alternate with 28 points. Do they tell us our place on the alternate list? Man, I hope I get in because I don't want to go to West Coast University.

Has anyone sent the TEAS transcript yet? Do we need to call in and confirm?

I sent my official TEAS transcript last night and I emailed Health science to make sure they received it. So just waiting for a response.

I think it wouldn't hurt to ask that at the end of orientation since it's just 6 days away. I'm sure there'll be time for a Q&A for possibly unaddressed topics like that.

I had suddenly lost a parent and I can't afford living expenses ontop of paying for a private school. Community college is my only hope to be a nurse

That is awful. I don't want to imagine what that's like. I hope you're able to get in asap, Hannah. I don't know you, but I'm cheering for you!
