Creating for those applying to the current ADN cycle at cypress college
It was mainly a reminder to send transcripts and fix any other mistakes one might have made while filling out the application. And it was also the receipt of the submitted application. If you had sent your transcript, that's good. Hope they have receipt of your application since you didn't get the confirmation.

I think I was DQ'd for the same reason, and I have the same stats as you. I never took freshman comp because I got a 3 on the AP exam for that course. I even called when I was applying to double-check if it met the requirement, but even then it still didn't count.

This is happening to a lot of people. I would call if you can get the forms in by Tuesday Wednesday they can put you into the lottery or if you have enough points maybe they will consider.

How do you know if you were dq'd? I applied with a 3 on my AP English class too so now I'm worried LOL. Still haven't heard anything and 1 person still hasn't esigned my application.

Says so on the application portal, we are able to see our decision on the last page of the portal, and at the bottom it shows you the status and amount of points you received. I only got 5 points similar to Yalapala. What I'm not exactly sure about is the reason for the DQ, I'm just speculating it has to do with my ap exam.

How were you notified that you were ineligible? Through email? I checked my emails I haven't received anything. I checked on the website my application still says multi-pending...

Is that what the nursing department told you when you called? What forms are you referring to, like my transcripts and ap exam scores? Bc they won't accept those unless they are official, and since it's been 10 years since I took the ap exam, it's been archived and will take more than a month for it to arrive at Cypress.

it might be too late to call and ask but what further instructions did they give out if you don't mind me asking? I made sure to send in my official transcripts after submitting the application
