CVOR Nurses in DFW Area.

Hello!

What are the hospitals in DFW area that specializes in cardiovascular surgery? I am relocating to Dallas and tried looking for hospitals that have dedicated CVOR unit and can only find one, Baylor Plano. Maybe I am not searching enough but any information will be highly appreciated. I am a CVOR nurse for 3 years now from another state and would love to continue working in the same area for many more years:)

My facility (not TX) has a dedicated CVOR unit, but it is incorporated into the rest of the OR. That may be the setup at some of the facilities and why you are only finding one. Sometimes, the job postings will indicate that it is specific to CVOR- my facility does separate out the CVOR postings because the call requirements are different. Other than that, you may just need to call and speak to someone.
