Curry College ACCEL 2020

I was not able to find a thread for CurryACCEL program for Spring 2020, here's one for us! I was reading on here and some past application cycles had threads. Anyone else on here looking into this program? I'm from the Metrowest Boston area hoping to get in to this school - the location would be great. I'm also looking at a school in Worcester. Hopefully hearing decisions soon!

Hi, I am also waiting to hear back on my application to the Curry accel program for the Milton campus! Hoping that I will get into a state school as well because Curry is definitely pricey, and I live in RI so the commute isn’t ideal, but doable for sure. Which school are you applying to in Worcester?

Hey! That's awesome to hear someone else on here is waiting. I'm waiting on Milton as well. Getting into a state school would also be ideal - it turned out many of them for me didn't line up with having a Spring start. I'm applying to Mass College of Pharmacy in Worcester. So, when do you think we'll hear back from Curry - they said Mid-august. Mail or email do ya think?

I was going to apply to MCPHS as well but the price was pretty crazy to me! I’m applying to some state schools in RI/MA for summer start given how much cheaper they are. Also, I’m considering doing an associates program through a community college near me that starts January 2020.

But, I did just call curry and they said they are mailing letters by the end of the week! Super exciting and I can’t wait to hear back. I never received an email even confirming my application but it would be amazing if they emailed first

That's awesome - what schools have summer starts that you're applying to?

I'm excited too. I had no idea it would be this early. You should probably get it in the mail shortly being just 1 day away in RI, and same for me. Thanks for sharing that!

I’ve been waitlisted. I wonder how many people they take on it. It’s driving me crazy having to wait and not knowing what the outcomes typically are. Anyone else on the list or know anything about people getting in after they were placed on it?

I just called to ask a few questions and they told me that they accepted 80 students and waitlisted 20. So I’m assuming based on who makes their deposit they will start to accept students off the waitlist

Wow, so they assume 50 of those people are turning it down or do you know if they are taking more than 30 this time? Thank you for the info!
