Has anyone heard anything from Curry College concerning Accel Program admissions?

Nothing yet. However, I think yesterday was the earliest date they said they'd start sending their decisions. Maybe some people will start to hear today?
Does anyone know if their total number of applications went up from last year (like so many other programs have reported)? Given the current climate of competition to get into these programs, that's what I'd expect, but I'm wondering if their newly required application fee kept an application increase in check.
Still nothing here...
Has anyone gotten word yet? I was told that the letters went out last Thursday. I'm hoping I hear something today, the ambiguity is killing me.

I received an acceptance letter this morning, but I am declining their offer. They request that all offers be accepted or refused by May 15th.
Received mine, too. I really, really wanted to go immediately for my Masters, but need to face the cold hard fact that $150K for the Simmons Direct Entry program probably isn't a good return on investment for someone my age. So it'll probably be Curry for me.
I still haven't heard from RCC for their Associates program, but the only upside there is $$ (I think).
I received an acceptance letter as well! I am very excited.
Perhaps I will have a chance to meet some of you later on this month at the financial aid help night they've put together for later on this month.

Congratulations to all who were accepted!! I was in your position a year ago, and am now a current student with almost a full semester under my belt. The program is very challenging, but also very well organized, with great professors (and fellow students!). I wish you all the best with your decisions--I am incredibly happy with mine, but know that there is a program out there that fits everyone's needs.
Best of luck!

Hey guys! my first post and a happy one at that! got my acceptance letter about a week ago, totally psyched for Curry, great program, great professors, excellent reputation, and about $40,000 less than the program I applied to at Northeastern! I wish all of you the best of luck!

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I hope someone will be able to provide me with some info! I am in the same position you all were a year ago! I am looking into accelerated programs for the year 2010 and wanted to know the typical student profile for everyone who was accepted into curry...such as GPA, letters of recommendation(who you got them from),etc... I would LOVE any feedback....
Good luck in nursing school to you all :-)
Hey, just thought I'd answer one of life's big mysteries: the acceptance rate at Curry College. I asked at the financial aid workshop last night and they had 177 applications for a class of 32 students for an acceptance rate of 18%. This is higher than the 10% rate at MGH (reputation) and UMass Boston (cost), but still quite selective. Although I wrestled with my decision, I am extremely happy that I chose Curry--the prospective students I met there seemed to represent a broad range in ages and a good mix of male and female.
In addition, I was told that the number of applications they had this year was down from the year before because of the higher application fee they instituted -- $200! (which they will not charge for the 2011 year). Also, I have been told that MGH ended up taking in 90 students so their acceptance rate is closer to 20% as well. In the end, it seems that all of these programs are very selective. So to anyone considering applying, I'd say definitely keep trying if you aren't accepted at the first program you apply to! :)
