I would like to know to what capacity will an LPN be used in the O.R.

Will I only be able to scrub, or will I be able to use some of my nursing skills? Please reply soon.

I don't have an answer to your question, but congratulations on the NCLEX-PN! Did you have a ST 2yr degree to start with, or did you do a diploma ST program? How long was LPN school on top of that?

Both my programs were a year long. When I went through Surg Tech program, the school offered a one year program only. The Practical Nursing program was a year also. If there were any pre-reqs to take, it was longer.

Depends on the state you live in and the place you work at. I scrub a lot, and i get to use my nursing skills.
