I'm currently looking for a psych travel position. I've been in touch with the company I traveled with before for psych because they seem to have more positions than most other agencies. Problem is that they weren't that great before, and already seem to not be any better this time around and I just hate to take a position with them. Anyone have any current info on agencies that have more than 2-3 positions for psych travel please let me know.

I work through Supplemental and only do Psych, Another company that I keep in contact with is American Mobile. Yes one of the evil empire but they do offer more positions than most. Good Luck!
Thanks for the info, I'll check them out.:balloons:

I wish I would have went into psych right out of school. I graduated in december and have been doing oncology since january. The hospital I work at wants you to work in a position 12 months before transferring. I want to get out and start working psych because I know you have to work 12 months in your specialty before getting on as a travel nurse. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm in the same boat. I am trying to find an attractive contract starting mid-sept, and pickings are SLIM to say the least! I am working with worldwidetravelstaffing right now, and have an application in with supplemental. Wish there was more demand and options though.
Biggest problem I have, I don't want to send in a hundred applications with different agencies just to hear what they have available. Why don't these people post actual job openings on their websites?!
