I am an LPN that was a got my CNA almost 12 years ago. I just wanted to know if the exam for the certification is still the same...is it half questions and the other part skills? I remember performing skills (they chose 5 out of about 40 some odd skills) and if you passed that portion, you'd be allowed to sit for the written exam which was about 50 questions. Thanks!

For me, it was a 70 question test and then a skills test. You perform 5 randomly selected skills.
Thanks for answering. It seems that it didn't change too much from before. I remember doing handwashing, blood pressure, pulse, throwing away contaminated waste and moving a patient up in bed (I actually failed that one, but the nurse was kind enough to let me get by for some reason).
