CUNY SPS Online RN-BSN Completion

Hi All-

I was recently accepted into this program for the fall semester. I know that the program just got up and running this current Spring '14 semester.

Does anybody know anything about it? Anybody currently enrolled? I really haven't been able to find any information aside from the school's website.

Hi, Just wanted to know if you have already registered for classes. I also got accepted into the program but am unsure of how long the entire program will take to complete. I really want to finish in less than 2 years.

I have registered for 12 credits for the upcoming fall semester. The two nursing courses, a computer course, and chem.

You should have received a credit evaluation of your prior coursework. That will spell out exactly which courses you still require, and that will give you an idea of how long it will take you to complete your BSN.

If you have an AAS in nursing, you most likely can complete this program in 4 full-time semesters.

I am currently attending this program. I am in cohort 1 and hope to graduate in December. We just had the CCNE site visit, and it was very successful.

The program is pretty extensive. Many of my classmates are working fulltime. I am taking three classes this semester. I took chemistry, healthcare delivery, assessment, and education last spring, community and information in the fall. I am currently taking leadership, research, and Spanish for healthcare. Next semester I'll do capstone and global.

How does everyone like SPS? I am thinking about transferring from CSI's baccalaureate program but I'm not 100% of the decision. I have taken online courses in the past (CSI offers very few online nursing courses but I take them whenever I can) so I'm not worried about the courses all being online, I'm just not sure how it's structured.

Hi all!! Any recommendations for summer courses?? Not sure if taking 2 would set me up for failure in the 7 week span. Any suggestions? I am in the middle of my first semester at SPS. So far so good!!
