a question to all fall 2012 acceptees: have you already signed up for nsna? i'm not sure whether to sign up now or later because the nsna registration website states "by clicking the "submit" button below, i certify that i am eligible for and am applying for nsna membership. i am currently enrolled in nursing school and have paid tuition." i recall that the instructors who were talking about this issue told us to use our best discretion and sign up anyway to receive the Liability Insurance... is that true?

additionally, are we supposed to sign up for a 1 year ($35) or a two years ($70) membership? and does signing up for this membership automatically give us the liability insurance, or we have to go to that nso (nurses service organization) website and buy it from there?

I signed up for NSNA two weeks ago. I only did a year cuz you can always renew it when it expires. Also we can print out a temporary membership card after registration, if that means something. I am not sure about going to NSO.

I am soo worried. How did you guys study for the nln exam?? Which section was the most difficult??

I have taken the mental health portion and there was a lot of meds. The exam gave u a scenario and 3-5 questions on that one scenario. I got a 74 and I practiced with NCLEX questions but I've heard that the ATI review books work well too. I take OB/child tomorrow.
