CTN- Delayed Deployment to UK

Hi, I just want to ask if there are other nurses here who are for deployment to UK under the Continental Travelnurse Agency. I was supposed to be deployed last month (April 2016), but they said there was a problem with the hospital assignment. My problem is that I resigned from work already to prepare myself on this new part of my life, but a week later in April, they told me this bad news. Anyone here who's part of the batch from IPAMS? Thanks

Hi! How is the deployment process now in CTn? Is it faster now?

I have my DL now. Currently waiting for my CoS. How about you?

I am about to process my DL. Did they find you a placement while waiting for your DL or did they still wait for your DL before finding a placement?

They offered me a placement in a hospital somewhere in Midlands region in England. Won't mention the specific name of the City and hospital for confidentiality. But yes, my offer came few days before I received my DL. As of now, I am waiting for my COS. What country are you from?

I am also from the PHL. When were you placed on queue?

I am just about to process my DL. Good for your, you'll be going to UK this year. I am just quite worried of ctn because of delay in deployment due to difficulty of finding placements. I have heard some that they will just start finding placements for you after you receive your DL. Hehe

Haha. Don't be too worried. But I understand your concerns though. I felt the same way too while waiting for my DL. But alas, they offered me a placement in a good hospital before I even received my letter from the NMC,and I immediately ok'd. I'm more worried on the length of wait needed before a candidate receives his/her CoS.
