Hello...I'm applying for Fall 2012 Cohort. Anyone else? I'm taking Microbiology right now and hoping to still have time to get accepted for Fall 2012 after I complete this course. Cutting it close as I heard they will start accepting for Fall 2012 in the next few weeks!!!

Anyone waiting to get in for Fall 2012? Starting to get nervous/stressed about getting into the program!

temecula campus! do students usually reside in san marcos and commute to temecula? Or just reside in temecula..?

A lot of people commute to the Temecula campus from all over. I want to say about half are actually living in Temecula, but it might not even be that much. Some people moved from far away. Others have jobs and family in nearby areas and so they commute. It is pretty random. You just have to figure out what works best for you.

where are you commuting from? how managable are the first 9 units do you think? would a part time job be doable??

I'm coming from rancho penasquitos So it's only about a 45-50 minute drive but it gets old real fast. And you can definitely get away with a part time job the first semester. I'm looking into finding one

Hi everyone!!! It was so nice meeting you all at the orientation last month! I'm so late.. I just found this forum/thread.. would have been helpful when I got accepted since I had so many questions haha. AND I just NOW recently found and added our Facebook group :p. I'm so late (oh man) :p. Well, I hope classes are going well for you all, and I look forward to seeing you all again at our next orientation :). Good luck with classes guys! :up: :)

Hi Lanibear, I've already taken the first 9 units. I'm a CSUSM alumni so I took the first 9 units during my undergrad to save me money for the ABSN program and they are really easy classes. So yes, a part-time job is doable. I took Bio323, Phil345, and Anthro301.. while taking three other classes at CSUSM and another class at a community college, while also having a part time job. I didn't have a social life that semester, but I had to do it because I wanted to graduate a semester early. To say the least, those three classes are super easy.. and the professors were really understanding, nice, and willing to help. I'm sure you'll do great :)!

They'll also tell you that during your first orientation. Once you get into your second semester, that's when even a part time job isn't doable :(.

Yeah I assumed that once the clinicals start rolling in, its best to go full on study mode! thanks for the advice!! I start in January so I dont know when my orientation will be but Ill get an email soon enough! Thanks again!

What is the conditional acceptance conditional upon? Do you have any classes in progress this semester (fall 12)?
