Anyone else here applying for Cal State San Bernardino nursing for Fall 2022?

Same! No, I only applied to CSUSB because the PD campus is near my house. Lack of transportation affects the amount of applications I can send. I expected my application to be denied, since my stats were not strong. I’m going to reapply for Spring! I just need to build a better application. Don’t give up, nursing programs are competitive in California. I was apprehensive too because it’s taking me longer than others, but everyone goes at their own pace. We just need to improve!
Hey everyone!
I just got accepted into the Nursing program! I originally received a rejection letter and it turns out not everyone who received it is actually rejected. For some who get the letter, it could mean that you are on an alternate list, but they just don't tell you. I found out today that someone had given up their spot and it went to me. So still keep checking your student email because I didn't realize the acceptance had been sitting in my email for a while week! DON'T GIVE UP!

I’m so glad to hear that! CONGRATS! I wish they could tell us if we were waitlisted, instead of denying us. Did you end up accepting?

Thank you! This was the only BSN program I got accepted to, so I immediately accepted it when I heard the voicemail. Since the Admission Office pushed the date to accept to be by June 1st, everyone still has a chance until then!

That's so good to hear! Do you mind me asking what your stats were, so I can get an idea of what the likelihood is for me? :(

By chance did you attend their info session and what were your stats, were you also local, thanks

Yes I found out about that too late and just got accepted into the prenursing alone haha,I intend to attend an info session and reapply this Spring or take a class there as a prenursing student and apply, not sure yet.Did you get in?
yes I got in! I was pre-nursing since last fall.
I applied the first time, I did not get in because I did not attend the info session but got in as pre nursing. I had to take a class there to be eligible to apply for Spring so I took some upper level classes.
I applied again for Spring 2022, did not get in.
I stayed there, took other classes again and applied for fall 2022 and I got in.
My overall GPA is 3.9 And science GPA 3.8, TEAS 89.3%

Congrats on finally getting in.So you basically have to either take classes as a pre nursing student at their school or apply all over again?Im just worried that the fees will be high to take upper division classes there because I’m currently at college although I have my complete transfer units.Wow my GPA is also 3.9 and my TEAS is also 89.3 haha what a coincidence, were you local and was that the stats you used to finally get in?
