CSUSB Fall 2022

Anyone else here applying for Cal State San Bernardino nursing for Fall 2022?

I just received my acceptance email today as well! So glad the first step is done. On to waiting again ?.

I'm applying to one other program but applications don't open till March 15th.

I was hoping to know if I had gotten in the nursing program before having to apply but it sounds like that won't be happening.

Congrats to you! Yup, the waiting seems like forever. If I don't get in, at least I will be able to transfer to their pre-nurse program and apply again in Spring.

Yay! Congrats! ? I got my acceptance email at the end of January before I even submitted my nursing application! Have you guys accepted your admissions into pre-nursing then? I can't wait for the end of March!! I check my emails daily...

Specializes in REGISTERED NURSE.

I received my pre-nursing acceptance today as well.

Seeing all these stats are honestly making me fearful of the chances that I'd even get in......

I called the school and they informed me that about 300 people applied. Has anyone gotten their acceptances into the pre-nursing major? I got mine last week.

My stats are:

Pre-req GPA: 3.88

TEAS: 84.7

Bilingual and not local

I really hope they will release the acceptances soon. IDK if this helps, but I have just been trying to manifest the acceptance and hope for the best. I wish the best for everyone here!

Hi guys,

I got an acceptance email to the PRE-nursing program from the school today. Have anyone here received that email yet?

I called the admission before and they told me that they have been sending out emails since January. They will continue to do so through March too. The nursing department told me that they would send out the announcement of acceptance at the end of March. It sounds like the timeline will be the same as last year.

I got mine last week too. I wonder if everyone who applies as a transfer gets in.

Congrats to you! We can only wait now. Does anyone know how many students they accept per cohort?

@hzk I believe it is dependent on the campus, but they accept 40-50 for Sb (based on previous year's posts) and about 20-30 for the Palm Desert campus. Which one do you want to get into/applied for?

I applied for SB. PD will be too far for me. 40-50/300! Rough time.

@hzk that is better than the CSULA ones which is you can only apply once in a lifetime and they only accept 60, but get about 700 + applications.

LOL, really?!! Wow. Well, good luck to anyone who gets in.

Hi all! I just got recently accepted as a pre-nursing major. I got excited but realized we still need the actual nursing program acceptance letter.

Here are my stats:

Overall: 3.919

Science GPA:3.875

TEAS:80% ( I could have used my 86% score but they only count the first two attempts)

1 year CNA experience

I doubt I am going to be accepted because I missed the info session and it is mandatory to be considered for admission.

Goodluck!
