Hi everyone! I'm a current csun student planning to apply to the csun absent program once I graduate and I was wondering if anyone in the current absn program has any input on how the program has been? I know the program just started this spring but any input on how the stress levels are and overall how you guys are feeling about the program? Sorry for bothering you all I just really am nervous about the program and worried if ill even get in when I apply lol.

Hi there!
This program is EXTREMELY fast paced. I know I personally underestimated the workload by a lot. Many of us have had to quit our jobs because it’s been too much. The program will 100% be worth it if we make it through but it’s stressful and definitely an extreme undertaking so be sure that you want it and can manage the workload. The clinical days have been my favorite part so far, which is a good thing since we will have 30 hours/week of it this summer semester coming up.

Hello,
I got accepted with a gpa of 3.8 and a science prerequisite gpa of 3.7.
I had about 300 volunteering hours.
I also have healthcare work experience.
Does anyone know when orientation will be?
