CSULB MSN Fall 2022

Published

Starting a chat for everyone who applied to the CSULB MSN Fall 2022 programs. I am applying for the FNP track and just got an invitation for the on-campus interview and writing assessment today. I have 2 years of medsurge & 2 years of MS, Neuro, Neurotrauma ICU experience. Pretty nervous about the interview. Hope to meet everyone in April!

Hello,

I got an invitation too. Good luck to both of us:)

I also received an interview invitation for April 13 for the FNP program! I have tele and ER experience. Anyone know what the interview and writing portion consist of?

Congrats on receiving the interview invites! I applied to the AGACNP program and haven’t heard anything yet. I tried checking my app status on their website, and usually within like 1 minute they send an automated email stating the application is in review, but I’ve tried twice today and haven’t received anything. Hoping that means my application is undergoing review..

I applied for FNP so it’s very possible they’re doing the FNP interviews first. Good luck! I hope you’ll hear back soon :)

Good luck to all of us. I don't know the interview questions and writing portion. In the email there were 52 candidates? I hope we don't all go in together LOL, it can be nerve-wracking!

From my friends who are in the program right now (FNP), their interviews were pretty casual. 4 candidates at a time answering in a board of a few people.

I applied for the Acute Care program and also got an interview for the 13th! Looks like they're only interviewing 33, with 3 at a time! I wish it was sooner though, some of the other schools I applied to want a decision before then

In the email I got, it looks like there are 53 candidates for FNP. IDK how many will be interviewed at the same time? I am sorry you need to decide soon, yeah it kinda sucks, most places are done their interview process by March! Best of luck though!

Glad that I opened this post, got some positive vibes here.  Best of luck to all of you.

Does anyone know the format of the NP Program? Like how many days spent on campus and for clinical? And if it’s possible to hold a job while in school

Congrats guys!

I still haven’t heard anything
