Just to let everyone know who's planning the schedules out... We don't get to pick anything lol the only thing you get to choose is if you want trimester or semester. After the orientation they email us our schedule with the sections that we are assigned to register for. So we don't get to pick the times or dates or professors for anything. The only thing I can tell you for sure is that the Nut339 class everyone will be taking because it's only one section which is a Wednesday 6-8:45 class. & as for the clinicals.. The ones that say LBMMC are for trimester students. But again.. You won't be able to pick the one you want.
And the schedule that they email out will be divided into semester and trimester students. Then each group is broken down into smaller groups of like 10 students. That'll be your clinical group and your group all gets the same schedule.

Thanks for the clarification! They both say LBMMC for group 1 and 2.

Are you looking at the fall 2016 schedule? From what I saw for N200, there are two lecture sections for that course. And the rest of the sections are Labs. For the Labs some of the locations say "Long Beach Memorial Hospital" and the others just say "offsite location".

Yes, so I am assuming Group 1 and 2 are for both semester and tri, and you're specifically saying that those professors that are labeled LBMH are usually clinical professors for trimester students ?
Also, I'm just curious, I know they do background checks and potential drug screening tests and going through past documents, they've mentioned they will do background checks at orientation or before orientation? I saw something aboit having to ORDER a background check. Did they ever require us to do a drug test at an off site location? Or do they do it like some other schools where they do it at the hospital when clinicals start?

Yeah the sections labeled LBMMC are for trimester students. So if you're trying to do the trimester program then your clinical will either be Monday or Friday 7am-4pm.
& the background check we order from an online company. We have to pay for the background check and a medical document manager that allows us to upload all of our medical documents like our vaccines and titer results, stuff like that. I had got admitted for spring 2015 so I really don't remember if it was before or after orientation. I believe the background check was prior and they gave us some time to upload all of the medical documents. But they give us all this info in that follow up email they're supposed to send before orientation. As for the drug test, I had to leave the program before it started so I never had to do that. I know for sure it didn't have to be done by orientation & I'm pretty sure they'll do it at the hospital like a lot of other programs do.

Thank you so much for the load of information ! :)
No problem :) if anyone has questions about orientation and stuff like that I can probably help but anything past that is going to be new to me this time around lol
I heard that they'll sell all the nursing books we need for the program at orientation in a bundle. Is this true? And do you know how much they'll cost? Yeah, I know they'll probably tell me in the e-mail, but I'm impatient...

yeah they offer a bundle during the orientation but I don't think it's every book that we need for the whole program. I thought it was a bundle for the first semester? but I may be wrong. I don't remember the exact total of it but it was under a grand so it can't be for the whole program.

According to Spring 2016, there are four classes your first semester: NRSG 200, NRSG 302, NRSG 304, and NUTR 339. We either belong in group 1 or group 2
