Hello! I wanted to create a thread for those interested in/planning on applying to the CSUF ABSN Fall 2020 cohort. Applications open up in a couple of days! I just wanted to know how everyone is feeling about themselves and create a place where we can talk about the process.
Don't believe there's already a thread created, but if there is, please link the thread haha
@Futurenurse246 Glad to see someone else on this topic! (I see a lot of lurkers, but no posters haha) How are you calculating your score with the essay points?

I think it's including all of the prereq's, science and non-science.
I got my confirmation email and a request for my official transcripts from all the schools I have been to......except I went to CSUF LOL
Good luck to everyone who applied!

Hi! Was your confirmation email from Admissions and Records or the School of Nursing?

I applied for FALL 2020... how do we calculate our points, and what is a competitive point?
Also, I had an issue with my essay... I thought I meant 3200 words.. when it was only characters.. I am so stupid!
Hi! You can calculate your points here: http://nursing.fullerton.edu/programs/acceleratedbsn/selection.php
From previous years, I think they sent out interview invites to applicants that had 70 points or higher. However, every year is different so that number will definitely change.
Sorry to hear about your essay ? Hopefully you were able to revise it accordingly in time!

@nelle I'm hoping to get around 83-93 (need to double-check on my CNA licensure first). Does your 117 include the essay points?
