Has anyone else applied? What do you feel your prospects are of getting in? Did you take any foreign languages to plump up your supplemental criteria score?

I haven't heard, actually. I was told that you can go in to see how many points you have and see where you were on the list. If you live close enough, it might be a good idea to see.

Is anyone else still waiting for the letter??? Because I have still haven't got mine and the mail already came today.

I got my alternate candidate letter last week too... so i guess its another waiting game...

I wonder how many of the 33 accepted applied to other schools and maybe CSUCI wasn't their #1 choice. Anyone know anything about how they're going to choose from the alternate candidate list?

Im an alternate as well. I emailed yesterday to ask how it works. They didnt really explain to me they just told me I had 33 points and the cutoff this year was 34 :(

She just said I would take a seat of any candidate who denies their spot.

congrats! i unfortunately was rejected ... oh well i have one admission to another program and am waiting on responses from other programs. see you in the workforce in a few years! :)

Claudia, Did they say how many they expected would be getting in from the alternate waiting list? Because i heard theres like 10 of us.

I got rejected from this school. :( A friend of mine got in. She has a 3.9 and a 90% on her TEAS. I have a 3.7 and a 75% on my TEAS (retaking it next weekend). I have a ton of work experience though and I even added 3 letters of recommendation for the hell of it! Still got rejected. :( Sucks, major!
