CSUCI Fall 2018 Channel Islands

Hello all future nursing students! I wanted to start a thread for all future CSU Channel Island Nursing students applying now and hopefully starting in Fall 2018. To get a rough idea of what this applicant pool is like, how many points does everyone have?

Hi everyone! The anxiety of waiting is killing me!

My total points: 34

I read the thread from last year, and a few people got in with 34s.

Stay positive and know that everything works out the way it is supposed to! Good luck everyone! Hard work pays off!

I am also a nervous wreck! I, too applied this February with 32 points... I spoke with the chair of nursing at csuci and she says I am at the edge with 32 points which makes me even more NERVOUS. I am trying to stay optimistic. I see from other threads one will recieve accepting letters by the end of March but I believe it depends on how many applications they have.

On the nursing portal, has anyone seen all their points accumulated yet?

Hi! Last year, they heard back March 22nd. I hope it's around the same time frame. I got into Moorpark's program, I made it to the second stage of CSULB's process (got chosen for an interview), and I believe I am an alternate for SDSU's program. Channel Islands is my absolute #1 choice, so I am so excited to hear back!

Hi analynn, I submitted my online app and hand-in envelope on February 27th. My points moved from estimated to reviewed on Monday (3/12).

@itsmeg Hi there! I waited until the last day to turn it in on the 28th of February. Did you recieve an email of the program recieving your teas scores?

Hi Everyone! I was getting anxious about the wait to find out so I called the nursing department this morning. They said that they'll be sending letters out via email during the last week of March.

If you don't mind, it would be very helpful to know the points each candidate received .. those accepted AND

those chosen as alternates........so those who haven't heard have a better idea of where they stand. Thanks

I agree with @CalRn8. I am at 32 points.

For the nursing portal once it states "reviewed" did the points change as well or does it stay as estimated points?

My application status says reviewed and estimated points still says estimated points.

From last years thread students recieved acceptance/denied letters this week.

Did anyone turn in the application on the very last day? I did....Ugh my application still states under review.

I wonder if they even look at all the applications...Do they pick the first good 40 students they see? All this waiting makes me overthink things ������
