CSU Stanislaus Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Anyone else applying for Spring 2019? I'm transferring from MJC and just wanted to see other's statistics. Finishing up physiology right now at MJC and took the TEAS twice with my highest score of 82.7% (not very high, I know ). Good luck to anyone else that's applying! I believe the applications for Spring are due September 30th so don't forget.

Just wondering, but for those in the waitlist, do you guys have a plan B? Registration for classes next sem have long started already, but I haven't registered for any because I'm still hoping to get into the program (that and there's literally nothing else for me to take since I finished all my pre-reqs and GE). Idk what to do at this point. Are any of you in the same boat or did you all plan for other things already?

Twelvenoon: Yeah, I signed up for psych classes. But I am going to apply again for fall semester! What waitlist number are you for Stanislaus?

I have two upper GE's that I'm taking next semester and I also signed up for 4 Kinesiology classes because that's my back up plan. I really hope we get in though! I'm really stressing about it and I also turned in my application for Fall 2019 last week.

I wonder what waitlist number they are on right now. Too bad we can't ask the office

I know right! I tried calling them and asking and the lady was so rude about it.

Sorry you experienced that thesp1. Was she able to tell you anything? I can tell you they haven't gone too far into the waitlist. The last we've heard was #10 getting into the program from the waitlist, and I am just a few alternates behind. But lets keep our fingers crossed. Sacramento just sent out their acceptances, and Chico won't send theirs out until Dec. 21st (the latest). And I've heard of students being called the first day of school, though, I can't remember if I read it on previous forums or from the information session I attended at CSU Stan. So there is still hope. I believe most would choose a two year program over a three year program if they were given the choice, regardless of the expense.

Thank you! No, she didn't tell me anything she said that they can't inform us where they are regarding the waitlist and that the top 30 were chosen which of course is information we already know. Someone that was on this forum was alternate 11 and they got accepted into their #1 choice so they gave up their spot so they should be on 12 if not further down the list. If you're only a few spots behind I'm sure you'll get in! Wow I didn't know Chico's decisions went out that late! I think there's hope for us all. Good luck!

Yes! I think there is still hope as well! I'm alternate #20. I think I am going to wait until the end of December to reapply.

Did anybody receive any packet yet? I know they are going down the waitlist. Just didn't want to be the person whose mail gets misplaced, and I keep waiting for the packet forever and ever!

Just letting any anxiously waiting alternates know, I'll be rescinding my acceptance tomorrow, as I got into my first choice school - Sac State. Best of luck to you all!!
