CSU Stanislaus Spring 2019

Published

Anyone else applying for Spring 2019? I'm transferring from MJC and just wanted to see other's statistics. Finishing up physiology right now at MJC and took the TEAS twice with my highest score of 82.7% (not very high, I know ). Good luck to anyone else that's applying! I believe the applications for Spring are due September 30th so don't forget.

Boxcat your stats are really great! I'm surprised you didn't get in! Why do you think they didn't award you points for those two? Also here is where you can calculate your points in case in case you're interested https://www.csustan.edu/sites/default/files/NURSING/documents/plscoringgrid5.23.16.pdf

Hey llmarkll1, I got A's in those classes too.

Boxcat, I'm so shocked you didn't get in! Your grades are nearly perfect! Why do you think they didn't count your second language and experience?

I'm waitlist number 20

llmarkll1 no, I live in Tracy. And yeah I'm sure it's a waitlist letter, because I haven't gotten any email. But I'm fine with that! As long as I eventually get in somehow

Hey, did you get any extra points for language, attending stan or living in the county?

Hi llmarkll1 & chlgi,

I'm not sure of my points for Stanislaus since I applied to a few other schools too. But these are my stats:

4.0 Science GPA

3.8 Overall GPA

83.3 on Teas

And I submitted healthcare experience and language proficiency, but I'm not sure if I was awarded points for those criteria.

EDIT: I also live in San Jose, so I'm sure you guys will receive your letters soon too! If SJSU accepts me, I will be giving up my spot on the alternate list.

So based on your scores, and considering that they give you full points for second language, then you should have about 90 points, but i did not count the health experience which can be feom 0-5.

I'm waitlist number 20

Wow! But your points were excellent. Does the letter say how many points you end up with?

Guys I'm feeling very discouraged :/ everyone has such amazing points yet you guys are being placed higher than I expected I thought you guys would be in the top 10 at least

Chlgi I got 3 extra points for volunteering. I also got points for attending Stan and living in the county

llmarkll1 : yeah I wasn't expecting to be that high on the waitlist. I guess a lot of people applied. They didn't say how many points I had, but when I added them up, I had 89

I am alternate 47 :l there is no way ill ever get in...

Omg I'm 21. I'm sooooooo sad :( I applied with 92 points.
