CSU Fullerton ABSN Fall 2023

Hi! I didn't see a thread so I thought I'd start one. Anyone apply to this program? Im super nervous! I also plan to submit an app to CSU Northridge. 

Anyone else? Any info?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, and I also got the interview invite. I plan on doing my assessment on Friday I think. I am super nervous too! I already checked in and completed everything needed prior to the actual assessment. I also saw the sample/practice questions. Has anyone else seen the practice questions yet? If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Update again! Just email the advisor and they will send you your original essay if you need it!

Is anyone else surprised by the practice questions for the video assessment? I didn't expect those type of questions and a little nervous that they might ask completely different questions in the actual assessment

I was caught off guard by the practice questions but I also thought they were fun LOL

How was it if you did it already? I was shocked at how strange and random (?) the practice questions were..

Anyone who has already completed the interview how was it?? How long did it take? Did you feel like the questions that were asked were not too hard to answer?? Hoping to do it today or tomorrow!

I haven't done it yet actually. I'm thinking about doing it tomorrow but yeah, the practice questions were really random

Just completed the interview and it was not bad at all. There were 4 questions total and you get 1 min prep time and 1 min 30 sec to answer each one. The questions are definitely more pertinent to the nursing field, although a couple were more focused on getting to know you as a person overall. It was like any other nursing school video assessment - good luck to us all!

This might seem like a dumb question but for our prep are we allowed to have paper and pen?  I just think better when I write stuff down but they didn't specify if we could or couldn't do that haha

I don't see why not, as long as you're not reading off your notes while you're answering the question!
