Has anyone finished or heard anything about the MSN fnp program at CSU Bakersfield? I'm in the progress of applying and i haven't heard much about it

Hey there, I just applied there this week. Just received and e-mail from the advisor confirming reception of my application. I still need to send in some transcripts. Last day to apply as you know is 02/29/2016. Beside that I haven't heard anything else. I've looked all over the internet!!! Will let you know...

Yoseko, did you send your application? Did you get the e-mail from the advisor confirming that your file is complete?. I'm just a little disappointed that there are very few people interested on this thread!!! Apparently, they have till June to reply to our application. Such a long time!!! I wonder what for???

Hi yes I submitted my application and i think it got there late tues and by thurs I got an email confirming that they got it. I think it's a long time also, do you think alot of ppl apply? I don't even know if it's competitive.

Where are you guys from? I'm from Texas but got stationed in Ridgecrest because my husband is military so I'll be commuting 2 hours for the one day a week we have to be in person.

My husband is in the military also. I'm from orange county area, but my husband is originally from Texas too! We're going to be stationed in Lemoore. I know its a long drive to school though. I'm currently applying for the public health nurse position. I have an interview in May. If i get the job I'm not sure about school anymore.

Did you apply for the military spouse scholarship?

I received my acceptance letter from the nursing advisor yesterday via e-mail with info on background check and other admission requirements. Check your e-mails guys. I know one of my colleague didn't get admitted. They probably had more applicants than I initially though!!!

For those of you who got accepted, what where stats for BSN? How many years of work experience? And how's the program going so far?
