This is my first time posting - doesn't seem to be too much activity on here anymore with CSN students. Anyone else planning to apply for Spring 2018? I'll be finishing BIOL 251 in the summer to be ready for the Sept 1 deadline! I'm hoping for the part time program but hoping it isn't a mistake to apply for part time since they accept very few students for that program. I'm curious how many points people applied with / got in with for previous semesters to see if I have a good chance. I think the calls for Fall 2017 went out this week.
I meant to comment earlier! You're right about there not being much activity with the CSN students anymore. Reading over previous semesters, students were super active on this site!
I have applied for the Spring 2018 semester, full time (apparently the extended track is no more or something?) I only applied with 26 points though I'm currently taking Bio 224 which is 10 points I wasn't able to apply with. I'm hopeful if I don't get in this time around I should be good to go for fall of 2018.
Also, I keep hearing rumors that the CSN nursing program is transitioning into a Bachelors? Has anyone else heard about this or know if this is accurate?
Good luck everyone!
Hi there! I also turned in my application for Spring 2018 with 37 points. If everything looks good with your application I don't think you'll have any problem getting in. I spoke with the health science counselor Connie Shaw and she was confident I would be accepted into the program with 37 points, which was very reassuring. Still keeping an open ear though since anything could happen! And yes I think they start calling people around October. Hope that helps! Good luck!
I turned in my application for the Spring 2018 Full Time program a couple weeks ago and I have 38 points. I've completed all the required prerequisites already and nervously waiting to find out whether or not that I was accepted. I'm so nervous that I messed something up on the application and I'll be set back another semester. Does anyone know when they let people know whether or not they've been accepted? October?
Sorry my last comment was to reply to yours! Still figuring out how to use this site.

Oh yes! I adore Connie. I made an appointment with her to go over my application right before I turned it in. I'm glad she was confident with your application! 37 points is a solid amount.
She said I may be okay since they don't tend to see as many applications for the spring semester, but I have to factor in the extended track students that are now applying for full track. Keeping my fingers crossed.
This is the first time I've commented on this site too. Can be a tad bit confusing! I'm ready for them to start making phone calls because the anticipation is killing me and I'm pretty sure we are going to be accepted. With our high points we should get in but there's still that possibility of not getting in which worries me. Good Luck!!!!

I know!!! The anticipation is killing me too, still haven't heard anything yet, but I'll be posting when I do! Best of luck everyone!
Now that we're finally in October, I've become so anxious! I was looking into previous cohorts on this allnurses site and it looks like last year they got their call around th 16/17th of October.
Which would mark about 45 days from the application deadline. I'm hoping it's about the same time frame for us. I'm praaayying they don't drag it out until the end of the month.

Also, does anyone know if they still offer the Math Toolbox class? I want to take it but I haven't heard or seen anything about it recently and nothing really popped up when I searched under MyCSN so I'm thinking it's not available just yet. Have any of you joined the FB groups also?? I just found out about them, theres a "CSN Nursing Spring 2018" group and "CSN Nursing Students Rock" :)

You have to wait 3 months between TEAS attempts. You can take it as many times as you need to though!
