Crying all the time after finishing school.

I just finished RN school. YAY. I am starting a really exciting job in 2 months. I am on track with my NCLEX prep. And I CANNOT stop crying. I was never like this before. Even during the most stressful parts of school, I didn't cry. Even in really sad clinical situations, dry eyes. Now I am a HUGE cry baby. Cute animal, cry. Slightly sad story, cry. Stub my toe, cry. Hit a personal best at the gym... you guessed it, cry.

Did anyone else experience this? I need to get it together before I start working.

There is a bit of "letdown" after finishing school. It's like Post partum blues to me, at least a bit. You spent so much time stressed out and anticipating graduation and now that it's done, you are let down. It's not unusual nor is abnormal.  Let the tears flow and keep working out. It will pass. Congratulations!
