Hello
I'm searching for information on the best way to study for the CRRN. A study guide, basically in the form that I used to study for the RN licensing exam, is what I'm most hoping to find. The CD computer program study guide on the ARN site looks great, but it's way out of my price range. Can anyone suggest a good, overall textbook....one with chapter summaries, and review questions, etc.? Thanks so much for your help.

Hiya....one really good book is Rehabilitation Nursing: Process, Application and OUtcomes 3rd Ed. by Shirley Hoeman. If you can get your hands on one by S. Dittmar (older, but great book), it would be good too. Years ago I sat down and went through about a year's back issues of the ARN Journal. It helped bring me up to speed on what was happening in rehab as a whole, not just in my little corner of the world :roll . I don't know where you are located, but you could check with your local ARN chapter and see if they (or a neighboring chapter) are offering any review courses. Sometimes the local chapters, if they are of any size, will offer a 1 or 2 day review for the CRRN and the cost is not usually that high. Good Luck!
