CRNA willing to Mentor

Specializes in 1yr NeuroICU 3yrs NeuroIMU.

Hello, I am a 27yo female, currently working as a Neuro ICU nurse (1 year experience ICU and 3 years Neuro IMU), and my goal is to become a CRNA. From the outside looking in there seems to be so much that schools want from applicants. I know there are sites and videos of people explaining how they got into their CRNA program but I would like a more personal approach when it comes to advice. When I was studying to go to nursing school I had so many mentors who cheered me on or gave me advice during my application process. It was easy to find them because I worked as a tech during the time. I find it very hard searching for a mentor for CRNA school. Even trying to find people who are in the process of applying is hard because of the competitiveness and secrecy due to fear of failure or even retaliation from peers on their unit.

I would like to learn from someone else's mistakes and gain guidance. I am a person who thrives on a good support system. Not saying I can't be my own cheerleader but I like the feeling of having someone to lean on for guidance. Someone who has faced the obstacles I will have to face and help me learn from their wisdom. If anyone would like to be my mentor, please feel free to message me. I am open to learning from you and will take any advice I can get.
