Hello everyone,
I submitted my application for the BSN to DNP Anesthesia Track program at the University of Miami that will start January 2020. It would be nice to know who else applied so we can update each other. Best of luck to everyone that applied! ?
I'm also on the waitlist, wondering the same. Many other Nurse Anesthesia programs are still accepting applications. I believe that some candidates give up their spots as they receive offers from other universities. This is why I'm hopeful, just like you, that we still have a chance to get in. Good luck!

In what sense? were applications handled differently last year? Curious .. also in the waitlist boat
March 15th was acceptance roll out , stated in contract , you have 2 weeks to comply; which would end on March 29 th. From there is then selection based on points you received which may take 3-4 weeks.
Applications were handled on a fair basis with no rolling admission. Meaning they look at everyone, give interview , then select.

Previous years were based on rolling admissions. This year they had a set date for acceptance. Applicants had 2 weeks to accept (and submit a deposit) or decline the offer. They would fill the seats from applicants that declined the offer with people from the waitlist (based on a point system- that looks at GPA, years experience, interview etc). As far as I know, this round, everyone accepted their offer. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that the interviews are held ahead of other schools in the area. Good luck!
