CRNA studies at UPenn - starting May 2010

Hi Samantha, I have an interview next week at UPenn for May 2011, just wondering if you can give me any advise on the interview experience? What kinds of questions did they ask you and who was present? Thank You for any help you can give me, I am really nervous about it :uhoh3: !!!!!

Hello!

Just interviewed at UPenn on Apr 1, 2010. I found out yesterday that I was accepted into the may 2011 cohort. So excited. The interview was about 30 minutes long. Pretty informal compared to what I heard some are like. They asked why do you want to be a CRNA and Why UPenn. Then just be prepared on the drugs and paitents that you usually see in your unit. I also made sure to ask them a few questions too! Good luck!!! :)

Hi Jackie11, Congrads on getting into the program!!! I had an interview at UPenn last thursday. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Did they give you a time frame as to when you would hear back regarding acceptance or not? It seems like you found out a week later.... did you feel good about your interview when you left? thanks for sharing... maybe we will be classmates next year : ) Cali749

Just had my interview today and I felt that I wasn't answering the clinical questions the way I should of. I got stuck on different types of shock.......I did very poorly and would be surprised if I get an acceptance. Also, on top of that despicable interview there are only 2 seats left and more interviews to come. This is an awesome program but I have other interviews so now I wait and forge on.
