Which are the main challenges faced by the CRNA working in in a rural hospital in a CRNA solo practice? Thanks.

Going from boredom with nothing to do for 2 days, to exhaustion with doing back to back cases for 24 hours
Not another anesthesia provider to discuss clinical issues
Being the lone voice against 'but that's how we always do it'
a less than stellar surgeon can make your anesthetic very difficult (long cases, large EBLs, etc)-a great sugeon can make your life much easier
getting 'rusty' with cases/skills which your facility doesn't require

Agree with all of the above and would add: A lack of peer review feedback. No immediate colleagues to review and discuss cases with.
