CRNA schools starting in Janauary

Does anyone know which schools have classes starting in January?? If so, when do applications have to be submitted?? Any info would be great, especially on schools in the Southeast. Thanks!

Go to www.aana.com and go to the accredited programs link and select each state you're interested in. From there it will tell you all the programs for that particular state and which month they start in. Just from memory, Univ of South Carolina starts in January, with the app due in summer some time.

Arkansas State and Union University both have Jan. Admissions but I think their deadline for application has passed.

Duke University in Durham, NC has a CRNA program that starts in January.....Good luck with your search!

UNCC does too. Their last interview is in October. I think you still have time to apply if you act quickly.

Gonzaga in Spokane, WA starts in January but apps are due Dec 1 THE YEAR BEFORE!!! :uhoh3:

ASU starts in January but they accept classes very early. I was offered for the Jan 2007 class in Nov 2005. That means get your stuff together early for class 2008. Good Luck!!!

I can tell you that Union University has extended their deadline for applications until May 15 for the class that starts in January 2007. They already have one group of students enrolled in the program. It is 31 months in length. They also have a METI simulator. Check out their web site. It is pretty informative. Good luck!

The following quote is a cut and paste from Union's website. Notice the start date........

Please note the deadline for completed applications has been extended to May 15, 2006. Interviews for the class of 2009 will occur in June 2006.

I'll pass on the 2.5 year wait just to start....:eek:

They might mean that you graduate in 2009.

That is correct AmiK25- 2009 is the graduation year for the students at Union University's anesthesia program that interview this June.

" Interviews for the class of 2009 occur in June 2006"

I obviously need to read a smidge closer....starts in vs. class of...is a huge difference.
