Hello Friends

 Is there any Certified registered nurse anesthetist In Ontario?  what study program did you go for & which registration needed after BScN degree?

I cant find such info on CNO website :(

Im taking my NCLEX sooner and would love to plan my future career opportunities

please advise

Specializes in CRNA, Finally retired.

Canada does not use CRNA's.  They have a few short programs for anesthesia assistants but they, in no way, function like a CRNA in the US.

It's only a short trip to the USA. Many states utilize CRNA's with almost the same scope as an Anesthesiologist. Maybe making the move would be a good financial and career step for you ?
