I have been an RN for 17 years and I am 39 years old. 15 years I have been a critical care nurse working 13 of those years in adult icu caring for medical/surgical/cardiac patients. The last two years I have been working in a newly developed SICU and recently got my CCRN. I will complete my BSN in two years and I am looking seriously into going into CRNA program. What loans or financial services are available for school and living expenses for 27-30 months of schooling?
There are many posts on this topic. Do a search in the forum. The best thing to do is pay off any debt and get rid of any notes that you can. It will be a big SACRIFICE since being older we seem to have lots of "stuff" built up. If you are ready to give up some of your stuff for that short 27-32 months and throw yourself totally into school you will be just fine. There are plenty of loans available.
Good Luck!
