As a CRNA how does your salary progress throughout your career. For example if a new grad started out with a $150,000 salary what would their salary be in 5,10,15,20,25 years?

it depends on where you choose to work
Lets just say a hospital.

completely depends on the type of job. it might increase over time as an ordinary employee, or it could go down due to supply and demand. as an independent contractor you may even have the ability to set your own hourly wage depending on the situation, and how much control you really want.

In my eight years of being a crna, my pay has gone up 2 1/2 times from when I started. But most of those increases have occurred as a result of changing jobs.

With my group, all of the CRNAs get paid the same, so someone with 20 years of experience makes the same as me with 6 months of experience.

I thought I would interject that I had a neighbor who quite readily stated her comp was $200k in a plastic surgery office, and this was in Atlanta, GA.
But as others have stated, one would think this would depend on the medical setting's environment-whether it be urban hospital, stand-alone ('cream-skimmers,' for-profit entities who seem to do one set of procedures all the time), teaching hospital, etc.
There was an article in *The Wall St. Journal* not long ago stating their comp. is generally in the range of $125k,+ what do others say?
