Critical Thinking ATI??

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has taken the ATI for critical thinking. If you have, could you tell me what it involves? There was a critical thinking portion we had to take on the HESI 2 and I am wondering if its anything like that. We will be taking it the second week of classes and I am kind of nervous about it. Of course, I am very nervous about starting my first semester as a nursing student anyway..LOL. :uhoh3: Any advice would be appreciated.

I had to take it while doing my first semester at a CC nursing program. I don't remember what was on it. I do know they told us it wasn't something we would study for. I think I got an 89% or around there.

I took it, and it has nothing to do with knowledge of certain subject matter, so don't worry about that.

According to my report, the major areas are interpretation, analysis, explanation, inference, evaluation, and self-regulation (how you regulate your own emotions pertaining to the given situation). You're given a situation in the question, then the answer choices center on one of the major areas I just listed.

My school gives it at the beginning of the program and at the end of the program. They expect you to improve over time.

You can't study for it, so try not to worry about it. Just do your best.
