Critical Care Nurse Navy Reservist in CRNA School

I'm current a SELRES in the Navy drilling as a 0904 (Critical Care). I was unable to get into the TMS program as there is not a need currently for CRNA reservists in the Navy. I'm eligible for deployment starting in June/July 2013 which would only put me one year into my CRNA program.

Are there any current CRNA's that have been in my position or anybody that can give me some advice? Anybody that was deployed in the middle of their program? I'm worried that i'll be deployed in the middle of my program and then not allowed back in to finish. The recruiter told me I would be able to do the TMS program but that is what is it.

Wow a recruiter not following through with their word? Unheard of.

That really sucks. Did you approach your PD yet? I'm not sure about the NAVY, but in the AF Guard you could go on IRR or resign your commission.
