cpne

Hello cpne butt kickers,

I have some questions for those who have taken the cpne if you don't mind answering them.

What was your best cpne strategy in retrospect ?

Did you attend a workshop and if so which one ?

Do you think the workshop was important to your success ?

What is your best tip for those of us following in your footsteps ?

Would xanax be helpful on test days ? [not kidding , read a lot about nerves killing people ]

Thanks , for taking the time to answer my questions, Calliesue:nuke:

Hello there,

First of all, I think the thing that helped me the most is the mnemonics I used. They were very thorough and I felt very confident using them. The other thing was that I drilled them into my head, I mean constantly. Every single day, especially in the car, because I spent a lot of time driving while preparing for the exam.

I did not take a workshop. Partly because I felt confident in my skills. The other reason was that the school advises you to take the workshop after you have an assigned date, when I got my assigned date it was 6 weeks out from that moment and the workshop in my area was well beyond full. So I just opted not to take it.

I did take Xanax while I was at the exam. I took Benadryl to sleep at night. And as soon as I woke up in the morning I took half a Xanax to cut the edge off and be in effect by the time I got to the hospital. It seemed to work well for me. Try it out BEFORE you go though so you know how your body will react to it.

Hope that helps!
