CPNE survival kit

one of my friends is getting ready to leave for her cpne and i was hoping for some ideas about what little gift bag of goodies would say--go win this fight! i've seen nurse's survival kits with a little poem about how bandaids heal and lifesavers in a pinch etc etc, but can you guys help me come up with something cpne related?

Nurse supervisor got us some little zip bags like you put meds in and put some peanut M&M's...printed a label that said "happy pills" it was cute.

Also some bubble bath to relax in the evening! lol

and most important, a note letting them know you'll be praying!!! :-)

My wife actually had some balloons and a goodies basket sent to my hotel room. some coffee and snacks and other little fun stuff.

It was topped with a congratulations teddy bear.

It made me smile.

Granola bars or protein bars. I lived on them -- couldn't eat much else! The hotel at Mansfield gave us a little welcome gift with bottled water, fruit, and some blueberry muffins. That was so nice!

For me it was all about religion!! I took prayer cards and a pocket rosary!

Give her some DVD's I went to the movies every nite to de stress from the CPNE. I passed and every one kept asking why are u not so stressed I went to the movies and out to eat every nite to keep calm. try not to let the CPNE freak u out just relax and enjoy a movie and dinner. I would even go to the hot tub after my night out. I thought of the CPNE as a vacation that requred excellant nursing skills if I wanted to stay another day. Well Good Luck:up:
