CPCC Spring 2017

Published

Hey guys!! Is anyone applying to Central Piedmont RN for Spring 2017? The applications open today. I'm taking my Teas and Nurse Aide exam in 2 weeks and will be applying soon after. I hope to meet new people soon!

From the family orientation this past week, looks like we will have Wednesday's off and either Thurdays or Fridays depending on what lab group you are in. So day days off a week I assume.

Yes! And spring schedule is available on schedule builder now :)

I maybe a little late, but Wednesday is off for all four semester. Only one section will have Thursday and Friday clinical (6 hours shift at Novant), and the rest will have just Thursday (12 hours shift at CMC main). Hope that helps!

Hey guys! Has anyone received any notifications on when we are supposed to receive our nursing scrubs that we ordered?

To my understanding we will receive our scrubs the first week of classes? But, they will definitely bring them to the school.

did anyone register for the nursing program classes yet? I have yet to have received a email advising me on what section to register for!

Hi! I'm looking to get into the nursing program! I have a question about past college experience. Do they use this in determining points in application? If so if I didn't do so good 5 years ago is that counted against me?

No, what you need to focus on is the class they suggest for you to take lie anatomy 1/2 it's not required to apply but I wold definitely suggest you take it. The application is all about points. My previous degree was not the best I graduated with a 2.5, but I rocked out the TEAS and had all the prereq classes. You should be fine.

Omg thank you so much!! I'm going to get working on studying for my placement test and take the classes they suggest!
