Counting down the days til May

The school I attend is supposed to send out acceptance/denial letters by the first week of May. That seems so far away, but kinda soon in a way too. I was just wondering if you get a denial letter, do they normally state why you didn't get in? and what to improve on the next time around? Thanks for your responses...Merry Christmas!

I'll be waiting for the same time frame. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the letters are simply "congratulations, you're accepted", or "at this time we cannot extend to you an offer for enrollment". In the case of a letter of rejection, I would imagine you could follow up personally with someone in the admissions office that might be able to give you an explanation. Good luck, and focus on the positive!

Not sure about your school, but I had two friends who were not accepted at my school and their rejection letters actually did include the selection committees reasons for not selecting them and what could be done to improve their chances if they were to re-apply. I don't know how common it is for them to include that information though. Good luck!
