I applied for JAN 11 class . I wrote the essay. The topic is why did u choose o do LPN at MPI?

Have you taken the teas yet? Im so nervous i have been out of school for so long!!! They said if I passed there test I could take the teas either Aug 5th or 19th. Are u definaltly in for Jan???

Yes I have taken the TEAS.They said i have to go through interview first after i submitted the application but they havent call me for the interview yet.

They told me they start going over the apps in Sept because i asked if the Jan class was full and they said no, they start looking at everything in Sept. Oh I also found out that students who attend other programs there have preference over new students coming in and they only take 20 students for the class. How did you do on the teas test, was it hard? Ive been going over the Mcgraws-Hills book to prep for the teas.

You will do good! some of the questions u might probably have known.

Read the questions very well and comprehend b4 u answer.

My teas grade are

English 82.5

Maths 84.4

English 72.7

Those scores sound good!Did you do well in the science part?Have you heard anything from them yet? What is the math like on their pre test? Did you only have 1 essay question? They told me two 15 min questions. Im just worried about the math its been awhile since ive done it.

From yercy,dla83101 sorry that I havent reply being very busy. I went for interview abt

two weeks ago. I t was fine. after the interview,They said they want to to offer me spot in fall

but i declined that cos i am planning for spring 11 that i applied for.

They asked me bunch of questions in the interview but not bad.

ON the pretest the math was just basic. dont worry, its like

arithemetic at the beginning and later in the questions it become stronger

not really strong that u wont get right.

yes i have one essay question.

I passed their pretest with a 100!!! I did have 2 essay questions very easy. Im glad you got the offer to attend. There were alot of people testing the day i went. I take the teas this month and again im soooo scared about the math. Any tips on what i should study for. I have the ati study guide and it just threw me all off with math i took the pretest from the book and did very well in the other areas it just my math. Any info would be great. Again congrats on getting in!!

Good, u are one your way! In my opinion the math in Teas was not as hard! u know

TEAS exams have different versions right. The version u re going to be doing is not as hard.

Since u are studying that would help u.

I can help u with maths in that book if you have problems to study ahead

or stuck with them. Just try ot post it.You should be fine!

was the math similar to the tease book i have version 3.0 and got totaly lost on the fractions and algebra. the Mcgraw Hill book math was much easier then the tease. Im not sure what to study for the math. I asked what version teas they give they told me its all different versions which didnt make sense to me. Thanks for your help!!
