Hi all,

Just reaching out to find out who else has applied for COS Fall 2022 ADN program? I submitted my application, and now I am playing the waiting game.

Has anyone heard anything yet? April 1st is approaching fast!

Oh? They’re sending letters by April 1st? Good to know! I live in Chowchilla so I’ll post once mine arrives. I probably live the furthest away so I’ll receive mine later than the local people.

Yes 4/1 is when they said we would hear by/on/ or around that time. Chowchilla is quite far! I lied when I said April 1st is approaching fast. This has actually been the slowest 2 months of my life, and even slower past week only because this is all I can think about. Good luck to everyone!

How many points did you apply with?

I applied with only 68 points but I applied for year round program, not the traditional program. How about you?

Oh wow! I didn’t know they had such a thing! How do I know which program I applied for? I had 75 points. I already know I’m in since I was given a spot for Sp 2022 but got it deferred due to giving birth two weeks ago.

This is the first time they have offered it. Since your acceptance was deferred and they have not offered it before it is likely that you applied and got into traditional program. On the first page of the application there is a spot where you check “traditional program” or “year round program”. I am assuming this was probably not on your application.
congratulations  on giving birth to your little bundle of joy! And congratulations to getting accepted already!

Aww thank you!! How long is the year long program?

It’s the same amount of time, just goes year round so you are in class during the Summer.

It must be shorter if it goes year round. Like 18 months?

It’s actually a tad longer than traditional program since they do one class at a time. So it starts earlier and ends later, total is I think about 2 months longer.

Wow!! So it’s less stressful due to being spread out? How interesting!

I got letter today , I am an alternate . I believe I applied with a 74.2 Hoping to get into Fresno City College , since I live in Fresno, but of course will drive if I get into COS.
