Has anyone had experience with this course of study.I've had several people tell me it's a ripoff. I've also had several people tell me it was worth their time.

I know what course of studying you're referring to. Are you talking about Regents? If so, I know many nurses, who have obtained their ADN, BSN this way.

I am doing this program. In actuality there are dozens of them. Regents just happens to be the most popular. Large universtiy have them I am also going to FSU(a 4 yr universtiy) and they have a complete online bsn. It is possible and not a waste of time. but you have to be dedicated, and it is not a whole lot easir just conveinant.
