Corpus Christi Jobs

I posted about this last week in the graduate nurse forum, but have not gotten much response....

Are any of you in the Corpus Christi area? If so, could you please inform me a bit about the employment situation there? I'm a new graduate in Houston looking to relocate to Corpus Christi (my fiance has a job there that he can not transfer from) and I'm having trouble finding a position. I've applied with several Spohn facilities, some of the HCA facilities, and Padre Behavioral. If there are any other places in the area, I'd love to know about them so that I can include them in my search.

Also, does anyone know what dates GN programs pick up by any chance? Here in Houston they seem to start June 9th or 15th, and since that's getting pretty close and I've gotten no job offers, I'm getting worried...:(
