Hello everyone,
I am an RPN looking to hear your thoughts about the pros and cons of taking the Coronary Care course. Your help is greatly appreciated!

It is a useful course for nurses who are working and will use the knowledge and skills gained from the course in their workplace. If a nurse is not working and thinks it will boost their resume, they should think again, because if they don't use the knowledge and skills they will lose them. In the past, schools used to only offer specialty courses to nurses who were working in the specialty area, but now it seems schools and instructors are interested in offering cash grab courses for their own financial benefit, rather than providing in-depth knowledge to enhance nurses' career paths .

My hospital offers an intense and lengthy orientation course to new hires.
Are you working on a cardiology unit? Is your unit offering to sponsor you?
