Moving to the Corona (eastvale) area soon.

Anyone have any experience with them?

Is it a good place to work?

Pay rate?

I did a 13 week travel contract in L&D a couple of months ago at Corona Regional. The people were great, small hospital but it was alright. If you speak spanish that would be a huge plus. Good luck!

I have been there for a while, not as a nurse. I do have contact with the nurses and patients though.

tdr61 is right, small hospital, but it's supposed to keep expanding. They are part of UHS (Universal Health Systems, Inc.) The staff seems to mesh well for the most part and the patients seem to comment often on how good the hospital and the care is. tdr is right about the Spanish speaking, there are a lot of opportunities to speak it on the floor.

What is your area? I worked there in L&D for 2 years. The nurses in that area were very nice and very knowledgeable. It was very much a family atmosphere. I left for a larger teaching hospital to get experience in high risk. It is a very small hospital without a lot of 24 hour services-no anaesthesia in house at night, no u/s in house at night, cafeteria closes at 7pm, etc. It has been almost a year since I've been there, so some things may have changed. It doesn't have a sterling rep and is WAAAY too small for the community it serves, but I think those things are changing for the better. I liked working there and made A LOT of money as a per diem. I am thinking of going back as registry next fall because I miss everyone!

Spanish is a must pretty much anywhere in southern California.
