Cooling Equipment for hyperthermia

Hi all, 

Looking for recommendations for cooling blankets/equipment. We recently went through a major heat wave that resulted in over 700 sudden deaths in our province (BC, Canada). Before I became the educator in our department, we had a cooling blanket system which shall not be named here, but it broke a little while ago and they never replaced it. Everyone hated it, and because our ICU transfers usually go out very quickly TTM wasn't much of an issue if we just turned the heat down and monitored our post-arrests that way. 

 

Wondering what your facility uses for cooling and what you like about it? Our ICU has both a blanketrol and an Altrix... let me hear your feedback!!
